My old trident was great until the prod snapped and i could not get a spare. So as a survivalist I need to be able to get all the bits likely to break bought in advance Smile
I like the folding Recon bow bow with sliding stock but they dont list spare prods so thats out.

this is a good crossbow and at sale price too!
you can get spares through the company

Once you can make strings you are self sufficient

NR, this is from the same company, is this more suitable for your needs

I'm sure you could get the spare limbs from the same company

Thanks, I'm deliberatly avoiding 175 and 200 lb draw bows as my research indicates that the prods dont last half as long as the 120 and 150 lb draw version, the 175s and 200s are apparently really at the extreme limits of glasfibre prod production technology.

Yup the Boomslang as its called at CB4U is also called the Recon by other sellers, damn nice bow, ideal power rated, compact, but if you look at the add they dont list spare prods, Sad Thats who I got the silly cheap break action 100lb draw compound cos if it **cks up you can use the 80 lb draw prods off the pistol bows on it and I've got 5 spare prods for thedm
