My vehicle is set up to work in that location and meet the needs of rural life. It is the model you call the Cherokee over there. We call it the Liberty over here.

MB you are very lucky to live where (and how) you do, most of us are really jealous. Your Liberty and the trailer are ideal for your life and where you live.

With us living in a large town both of our vehicles have to be suitable for all our needs (as I’ve said before).

The car is for everyday shopping, trips to the DIY warehouse or the tip, as well as socialising, but it carries basic gear as a GHV.

The camper is for holidays, as such it’s set up for two or three weeks away, food, water, clothing etc. Should it ever be nesessary to bug out the camper would be loaded with ready made up crates to last at least three months.

If we hadn’t got the camper we too would have a 4x4 or a larger car and a trailer.

With a little thought it’s easy to “tailor” a vehicle to your needs.
