the whole point of peak oil is that oil is a finite resort(whether you agree/disagree that we have reached peak oil) and at some point it WILL run out, gone, no more left, whether that is in our life times, it will be in your childs lifetime so think about it, no more oil means no more OIL BASED products, so what happens then, do you think the human race will be able to adapt to no oil? or do you think they will all go crazy and commit mass suicide??
