Very true, SS. OU is a good option.
Personally, I felt extremely honoured to have a couple of apprentices on work experience, who would learn from the wonderful team I was lucky to be part of at the time, and they'd do a couple of days at the local uni too.
One of my wee ones (16 y o) fresh from school was ripped like Arnie, wanted to be an RM Commando like his big bro ... I said: stay two years with me, get your bank balance healthy, keep your daily workout, and learn everything the team can show you and given time you'll be a Sapper. We were mil contractors and we even took our wee ones out paint balling for fun and showed them other tactics. We were a most diverse bunch, back in the day. lol
