Slow Collapse

RE: Slow Collapse
The biggest threat on this planet is overpopulation. The average Woman in Africa has 6 children. Considering the growth of the deserts in Africa, the question is who and how should we feed all of them. In 1970 a half billion people lived in Africa. Now there are about 1.5 billion people living there. Of course they all are human and have the same right to live, but reality is that more will migrate to other countries to survive.

Most of Asia is no better off, especially India. India' s population will soon exceed China's. It is necessary to talk more about birth control and population growth in the developing world. The major industrial nations are shying away from this discussion, because their birth rates are declining, populations are aging, and there is a shortage of skilled labor in the indusrialized countries. The topic of population control in the developing world is unpleasant so people don't want to hear it. However, it can be mitigated somewhat by education, because well-educated people enjoy a better quality of life and have fewer children.

There is much discussions about climate change and what the industrialized countries can do tom mitigate against it. In a Global scope the EU, UK, Canada, Japan and Russia cannot accomplish enough to overcome the emissions produced by China alone, 29% of the world total! The EU combined produces about 10% of Global CO2 emissions, the USA 14%. Whatever we will do, the growth of the Global population generate more CO2 emissions than the industrialized world could ever save.

Climate change cannot be mitigated without getting the Global growth of the population under control.

Conflict over key resources are just ahead of us. The Greenies and Joe Biden want to get rid of internal combustion engines, but most of the world resources for rare earth elements needed for Li-ion battery production for electric cars are controlled by China.

Real world needs needs are oxygen, water and food. The Chinese are looking to control the sea lanes as Britania did a century ago. China is buying huge chunks of agricultural land in Australia, the USA, Canada and Europe. They also control much of the mineral resources in Africa. By controlling critical resources they can control the earth. They do this on purpose.

You may wondering why there is always conflict in the Kashmir region between Pakistan and India? Because it is the water source for at least a billion people...
