USA dudes -early warning

You know how you used to have radiation detectors on your costal areas?
You know they were all shut off because of the radiation from cell phones, smart devices and wifi, right?
Okay so if you live in the middle of the sates, how will you know if one of your costal cities gets nuked?
Did we not build these system for early warning?
If so why turn them off?
Are phones and the like dangerous? Is this tin foil hat stuff? Okay, if they can tell the difference between the two - why shut off the early warning detectors?

Just another thought.

I am not looking for a fight. I am just asking questions about the things I have looked into.

I am happy to hear ALL points of view here; USA or UK dudes who have a better idea on this stuff than I currently have.

Information is knowledge... once the shi!te is sifted out of the nuggets, of course.
