If we go back in time a wee bit, back to before talc came about, mothers use to use the ash from the fire to clean up babies,.. they cleaned the fire and sieved the ash until all that remains is a fine dust,... this is a perfect talc and will always be available, it does the job well without any smell at all, and [ I understand ] doesn't go gritty
