Beggars are crafty when I was living in edinbugh there was a british guy wrapped up in a blanket with a sign that said "blind and homeless" or something similar, everyday it got to five he took his glasses off, stoodup, packed his blanket up, he was wearing a suite and he went straight to the pub. As for the big issue its hard to find a seller that isnt a romanian.
yep, its all based on the"relevant" tax years and you have to know which tax years are "relevant"!!Big Grin

so there you are then, wasnt hard was it?Big Grin when someone gets to 60 they are not allowed to sign on any more, not that i was-signing on i mean!i did earn more than £100 per week but ONLY when i was self employed, i was a self employed jobbing gardener.

On the dwp website it states you can get JSA until you reach pensionable age.
Social welfare is a repugnant parasitic condition that directly affects preppers and self reliance, If I had not been taxed to death for the last 30 plus years I would not be in a bad aposition now, I would far rather pay out monthly for kids schooling, medical insurance etc so that all my earnings went on my family and our survival. But because of the malignancy of social welfare we see people seeing between 30 and 40 % of their pay taken off them and wasted by the state.

My levels of prepping are directly linked to my available income, so losing half of it in taxation to pay for stuff I dont or wont ever use is immoral and wrong. I dont / wont use Sure start, Ring and ride, Meals on wheels, libraries, Swimming baths, sports centers, gay and lesbian advice centers, Drug abuser help centers, refugee centers, asylum seeker centers etc so why the **** should i be expected to pay for them?

nope,as i found out, once you reach 60 you are refused jobseekers and you have to apply for Pension Credit.you do that over the phone.
It's say pension credit or JSA.
The best form of government is the one that governs least, small government, small state, ultra low taxation and a population told to take responsibility for their own lives is what made our American cousins the richest peoples on earth. BUT the more civilised and socialist and high taxation, big government you get like the UK and our standard of living continues to decline even though we pay record taxes.
but the jsa system wont pay past 60 as it calculates it itself and so because u dont have to sign on or anything they advise you to claim PC
