At least you will not have to worry about the Germans, Swedes or Finns invading you for your food supplies. They now have their own 10 day fuel and food rations sorted out.

Pity the UK can not do the same. Then you would completely alleviate this scenario, or put it off until day 13 or 14.

With the current weather situation the snow would be melted by then, or things sorted out, and only the big piles in the parking lots a reminder of the "disaster".

Which brings up another point. No matter how bad the storm is or how deep the snow gets summer is on the way.

Everyone you turned away from your door is not going to die and the incident be forgotten. Most of them are going to make it.
