Couple of years back OH relatives stopped at our place for 2 weeks holiday, after 4 days buggered off back to London.........to quiet could not get to sleep, I was happy to see them go, the bastards got through 5 packs of my jammy dodgers.

i think there is so much background noise especially in cities and large towns that people have no concept of what "quiet" actually is, and when they do it makes them go nuts!
