Forums come and go, most UK forums have a core group of 6-12 or so resident posters, they often form a clique and whether they intend it or not leave others feeling excluded who leave looking for an internet home or try to form their own (I've seen a couple with only two people seemingly interacting but realistically it's "admin" and their own names account).

YouTube is a good way of drawing in new forum members but you've really got to want to put yourself out there.

its more like "Preppers" come and go, I've seen the names on many forums drop off and never heard of again.
whatever forum it is the info is there if people want to use it.
like the saying goes " you can take a horse to water but you cant make it drink".

Pretty much all the UK prep,survival forums are quite these days most members have been around a while and have discussed all the topics over and over again.
I can't see things changing anytime soon unless theirs a problem like covid again.

Their dose seem to be intrest amongst the younger folk who like the idea ov the off grid lifestyle possible due to the price of rent and house prices.

Off topic , I do miss mort his views and experiences were great add his wicked sense of humour a hard act to follow their can't be too many like him left .
