What have done towards your prep?

And that was back in the days where they were semi competent. Those days are long gone.

So true. History proves that mankind in general is capable of building and living in places that were previously uninhabitable, there has been some great inventions over the decades, how the Dutch manage to live on a flat land mass without being flooded for example.

It's the greedy, corrupted men in suits/government that have screwed things up, not the good workers/citizens who have strived for a better life from the beginning.

From the yobs rioting at Southend (and others) it shows their level of anger at TPTB, and as the government will be incapable of implementing their election promises, things will soon be on the boil all over the country.

They say the police are already overstretched and courts may have to work nights.

Are you ready for the food price riots, gas price riots, fuel price riots, can’t afford a big tele riots, and the “who me ?, get out of bed and get a job” riots.

You will be on your own.

From today’s Times (Comment by Roger Boyes)

“CHINA IS STOCKPILING - WE MUST DO THE SAME” .

Yes everything from lithium and other rare metals for batteries and electronics, nickel for tank armour plate, copper for shell cases, gas and oil, wheat and maize, and believe it or no 67% of the worlds soya beans to feed China’s 400 million pigs.

Is it all to seize world trade position no.1 from the US ?, or for an expected trade war with them if Trump is elected ?.

Or is it for Xi’s “reunification plan” with Taiwan which is planned for 2027 ?, then The Shit Will REALLY Hit The Fan.

Three years.......Three years to build up your stocks and give you and your family a head start.......Think what a grand could get you ........for less than the price of two costa coffees a week........you know what to do and where to start........

Yes BP, not much time to get off grid heating, cooking and lighting sorted.

We have gas central heating (electric pump and controls) and a multi-fuel stove/wood burner fitted in our living room. We cook with gas but have a two burner plus grill picnic stove ready in the utility room and plenty propane. Always belt and bracers.

We have friends with a full size gas stove fitted in their garage with three 47kg propane bottles in an outside lean-too. Always belt and bracers.

For lighting, candles, tea lights (six in GHB) good but a possible fire hazard, windup lanterns, rechargeable led lamps, torches with of-the of the batteries recharged by solar panel.

For electricity generation if anyone is worried about how long things will last after TSHTF, solar panels 25+ years, lithium batteries 3000-5000 partial cycles (up to 15 years), lead acid leisure or deep cycle batteries over 1000 charge cycles (but can last 12+ years), all must be used with common sense.

Today’s “Guardian” newspaper tells of of the vulnerability of undersea fibre optic cables that carry communication including the internet around the world. Russia practices cutting these cables so you can bet China also has the capability. Keep your survival info download library up to date.
