You can't count on any notice at all. They may decide that as most won't make it we will just leave it. The socialist way.
Plus it depends what it is from. An asteroid we may get years warning, an earthquake, none.

i think any problems we have coming are more likely to be man made rather than natural events, the mess the human race is making of the planet makes me think so.

Should have a good idea yourselves if your watching what's going on a round the world and in the sky, I do a round the world news, health, event check every day in hope I'd get a heads up and be on my toes before disaster struck, certain things maybe instant, nothing I can do about that but hope for the best but there will be signs for most things.

413ft.
But can be at 519 ft in a minute by car.
....and well over a 1000 in under 10 mins at a half decent bugout location overlooking a lot of the surrounding areas....able to see the flarestacks at the Grangemouth Refinery to the east , and on a really clear day - ailsa craig to the west ( at least I'm sure thats what it is 0 , might be wrong.
The Romans felt it good enough to stop at for a while - so me and mine should be safe till the fires in the nearby towns die down , and the glow of Glasgow to the SW starts fading too.
Trying very hard not to be paranoid.....and it aint getting easier.

I live 50m (164ft) above sea level and would take me 35 minutes (On a clear run) to reach the start of the Campsies

nothing I can do about that, but like others I just hope that there are signs leading up to the event that allows me the time to Bug Out.
