Sadly Yes. They need power for the pumps to keep the water circulating until it is cool enough to be stored.

And of course those south eastern based advocates of nuclear power intend its generation be done anywhere except the south east and its waste be buried in the north west as far away for the home counties as possible.
Yeah lets go nuclear its only the future health of the children in the NE/ NW/ Midlands/ WALES and SW at risk.

Sod it.
I'm reaching the point where I really don't give a damn.
No power, no industry, no money, no light and no heating.
No pumps, no fuel, no food, no water, no anything.
On the plus side, no power = no banking = Sod the bills.
In every rain cloud there's a silver lining I suppose.
2015 is when it's all going to dim isn't it?
Why worry about things that may kill me in 3 years time when so much can kill me today.
