I stopped voting for mainstream parties oh around 1990 ish after the poll tax fiasco, Never voted Labour though that would be just one step to far for me, I'm a white, christian, married, mortgaged, car driving, hard working tax payer so Labour has never appealed to me Sad

i have ALWAYS voted, both in general elections and local ones, i stopped voting for mainstream parties in 1995, in local elections i vote for local independents. i reckon people who DONT vote shouldn't complain about the result afterwards.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

Thing is, in areas where people are going to vote labour as the ancestors will spin in there graves if they do not - the Tories may do some things for the area, but they will not do a lot. Maybe ensure a bone is thrown every now and again for the populace to gnor on. Why do more, the people in those places will never vote Tory, so why try to buy something that cannot be bought.

Labour on the other hand do F all for those areas. They know the people there will vote labour as their Father and Grandfathers did and the beer is cheap and the craic is top in the Labour club.

When a political party can take a place for granted, it will. Labour takes a place for granted by giving them a shitty social 'safety net'. The Tories take people for granted by assuming people are better placed at deciding what they want to spend their own money on.

That is the main thing with socialism - it is wrong as it assumes I think it knows better than me what I want to spend my money on. A point in time will come when everyone realises socialism is communism and this is the greatest threat that humanity has faced. Do not let the fall of the USSR soviets confuse you. It is a threat. It still exists. You must do what you can to stop it.

Cameron is just an overgrown public schoolboy out of his depth, Milliband looks like a cross between Bin Laden and Dracula, and Clegg's name should be 'Clog' because he's so wooden..Smile
Nigel Farage of UKIP is the only Brit politician of stature, he plays a blinder on youtube kicking EU butt..Smile
