RE: Fray Bentos Pies £1
750 cals for a bentos pie is the best you can do for a quid on a tin i think. Them breakfasts in a can are usually only 450ish cals. Obviously taste is not great but hardly anything canned will be. Whats the best way to cook them pies if all you have is an open fire?

My first thought was a £1 for one is not much of a deal that's what ive paid for them before but im forgetting that its been at least 3 year since I bought one inflation !

have had them before and their not up to much TBH, more pastry than filling and they always seem to break up getting them out of the tin.

Eat them cold,.. tip out the contents into a pan,... or put the can in boiling water, [after piercing],...either way they will taste ok

much more tasty, even with tinned stewing steak or mince, but with fresh meat its even better.
