RE: Pandemic
its not that they were bad mothers, they were doing what was needed cos times were hard
they had to take crap jobs, it was that or you didnt get the new school shorts and had to wear last years that didnt have space in the balls cos you were only 11 last year

thats the diference in today, mothers stay on dole till kids are 15 .
its good for the kid but bad for the mother.
but it has bad effects too.
the kid takes everything for granted

RE: Pandemic
I'll never forgive my mam for one thing though.
One year for christmas I got a new coat....
all lovely pvc fake leather and elastic cuffs....

Lost it within a day...

horrible coat..

I shudder when I think about that coat...

A bin bag was more fashionable...

RE: Pandemic
Must have been something in the water, or the bear at the time that drained their fashion sense...

I meant beer not bear.....

nope , it was going cheap somewhere and you needed a coat.
same as my trainers, i did need some, and she couldnt afford, so she got me what she could

i used to think i had a strict mam, and always wanted a mam like my friends, who got everything they wanted.
now im glad i got mine, or i wouldnt be me, id be like my friend, a sheeple
