RE: old railway sleepers.
It shows how behind the time I am,... I didn't think you could get them any more because they were soaked in Creosote, which is illegal these days,.... isn't it?
A major part of survival is invisibility.

never heard of creosote being illegal, i'm sure I saw some for sale the other week? anyway these are USED sleepers and have been "in situ" since at least 2004.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

Looks like I was right,..at least to the general public,...if you read down you will see that it was withdrawn from public sale on the 30th of April 2003

The railway company would have still have been able to use it of course

that's bloody strange cos I am POSITIVE I saw it somewhere for sale within the last couple of weeks, either in a farming supply store or a garden centre.

you can still get sleepers treated with creosote like phone poles also but creosote was banned some time ago wat they still now is creocote it weaker and less smelly farmers can get real creosote from agl stores like mole vally down in in devon

that's probably where I saw it GM, I was at Mole Valley Farmers in South Molton about a week ago.
