BSA Martini actions can be re-chambered to .22 Hornet. I have even seen them re-barrel to .17 rem.

well my .22mag started life as a Martini Enfield .303 from around 1895-1918 then was rebarreled too .22mag in 1974 by the midlands gun company so its already gone from blackpowder cetre fire too .22 rimfire!!

.22mag ammo a bit pricey but not to bad...yeah the brno zkm611 is the rifle i was talking about as they no longer chamber the 10/22 in magnum anymore. ideally .22lr for stocking the larder and .22mag autoloader for defending it. may just pop along to my local gunclub for an application form.

sorry thats the older .22mag i was considering,the one i really like at the mo is the cz512 it comes with 10 rnd steel mag's and i believe spares are £30 each

ye the cz 512 looks like a good option! i really like rifles with open sights
