Just the opposite here. After a couple of days of quiet people looked around and saw no one dropping dead around them. The only thing closing down businesses has done is put more people on the streets and shopping in the stores that are still open, which is all of the large chain stores, discount stores, groceries and big box wholesale clubs such as Cosco, Sams and Kroger warehouse. The stores are packed.

Plus in my area we have seen a flattening of the new cases being reported. We have ten cases in a population of 1/2 million in this region. No deaths. No new cases reported in nearly a week.

People really do not see the sense in the restrictions and are visiting in homes of friends and family constantly. There is a constant and above average flow of traffic on my little lane.

Of course this is a rural area and the average IQ equals the number of lace holes on a pair of trainers with Velcro closures.
