During the 08 floods our water was cut off for several weeks ,among the last to be reconnected because of our rural location all shop and supermarkets sold out in hours but travel further afield and you were OK.

Fair play to the authority's they brought in massive amounts of bottled water but washing cloths ,ourselves, cooking ,washing up were a huge problem also flushing the loo.

No water filter could supply a family with what it really needs apart from drinking.

I got by by showing in my gym ,washing cloths at families home and using tons of bottled water.

If it was a real shtf event lots of problems
