Food shortage alert from Financial Times

I don't know what use popping corn will be but I had better stock up, Canned sweet corn also, I bought a bag of Tesco own frozen sweetcorn the other day and it was more white in colour than yellow but cooked up o'k.
I know lack of corn in my diet won't phase me but corn has so many uses and this is what the problem will be.
