Thats pretty much my take on things. If my next door neighbour turned out to be a prepper and and we got along well then I would consider teaming up during or after an event but that isn't likely to be the case. Most other preppers/survivalists that I actually know to a certain extent in real life are way too far away to be of any use or help to me or me to them.


yep, same around here, the neighbours would be more of a liability than of any real use, most people around here dont keep more than a few DAYS worth of food at any one time, no need when you've got a mini supermarket(Co-op) half a mile down the road. i KNOW there are no preppers around here and probably none anywhere near here to be of any use in a future "event", so we(OH & I) are on our own.
