It started long before that, we (Britain) were on a hiding to nowhere ever since the establishment of the first "British Empire" by QE1 (1583–1783) and then the Second British Empire (1783–1815) and with the inauguration of the "English East India Company" and associated manifestations of the the desire for World domination by the British, it was only going to be a matter of time before the World and his wife came here and took back what we had surreptitiously acquired from them...... we are paying the debit of our forefathers
