I had a friend who was a paranoid schizophrenic , I tried to help him, we had been friends for 30 years, but everytime I told him what to do(to solve this or that problem) he'd go and do the exact opposite, I guess you just cant help some people and I gave up. I got remarried, moved away and lost contact.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.
