Er..you forgot the Spot Satellite Messengers they had strapped to their belts!
I thought it was good fun. I enjoyed the group dynamics. Loved the ex-cop when they just landed; "Right, single file!"
(Re. fire; personally I would have borrowed one of the camera batteries and created a spark from that so we could all move on and catch some lunch. One of Bear's competitors in the "survivor porn" business (Survivorman) did that in his series!)
