To be honest, although I voted against the Tories, I'm pleased they got in. And yes I'm expecting to lose out as a result of their majority govt in the form of cuts to child benefit & tax credits to the tune of about £200 a month. I'll just have to plough on reducing my debt & taking on additional jobs if necessary.
As a relatively poor, no property owning working class bloke, the thought of a labour government scared the crap out of me. As an individual it makes more sense to pay off my debts, so I think it's the best for my country aswell. Instead they would've borrowed even more. Just remember how Blair/Brown loved PFI & triggered this shite we are in in the 1st place. You can blame the bankers (and they have shafted us), but the last lab govt are equally to blame.
