The media always concentrate on the cities, but with rural police numbers slashed it wouldn't surprise me if the next terrorist outrage was in a remote town. A life is a life, an armed fanatic could cause carnage by simply driving around rural areas murdering people, and needn't blow himself up afterwards either. We saw something similar when the lunatic with a smallbore rifle did it a few years ago.
