never heard anything about the south coast, but here in North Devon we get a lot of rain and just a bit of snow mostly ice, we seem to be getting more rain than normal or is it it just seems like it? anyway I cant even guess what the weather might be like in 10,20.30 years-so I don't try!
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.
