Population increase in your area
He're a great one, coming as a response from something Monty said about WW2's refugee relocation program.

Yes the population has increased quite a lot, and yes, things SHOULD have changed, and it'll never happen...again, but we all know TPTB are highly unpredictable. So that's the stand point we're working from.

Something has happened and the population density of certain areas has been reasoned to be 'unreasonable' or 'unacceptable' for the situation. Maybe it poses too big a challenge for humanitarian aid or too likely a target for bombing. As a result TPTB have opted to relocate a lot of people from the cities to more rural areas.

Now the fun begins. If you have a simple 2 up and 2 down, then providing the gov decides so, which they could well do, you could end up housing a total of 2 adults and 3 kids in your 2x2 house. So that could be you and the other half, suddenly taking in 3 kids. Or any combination of a 2x2 housing a total of 5 people...something like that. Maybe you have a 2x2 and you're suddenly lumped with another 2 adults. You get the idea.

Previous thoughts on something unexpected like this are:
This was never really going to happen...but it did in the past. Things are different now. Well.......maybe....but....
Major terrorist attacks in the US were never going to happen, but they did.
Another depression was never going to happen, but it did.
Another world war was not going to happen after WW1 (the war to end all wars), but it did.
Another genocide was not going to happen after WW2, but MANY more did.
Relocation of city populace was never going to happen.......you get the point I'm trying to make.

So assuming this scenario is not going to happen could lead to a gap in your planning. So play nice and play along. If you don't think it'll happen, that's cool. I hope it doesn't happen either, but there's no point in burying your head and just hoping it doesn't happen. Better to plan for it, or at least consider the possibility of it. Answer as if there is the chance of something like this happening to you.

Please note, if you are already in a high density population area, you could well be getting evacuated. How would you respond?

For those of us in more rural settings, the gov knock on your door and you have a couple of people, maybe family members, on your door step. What now?

If you decide to just lock the door and leave them outside, (for this scenario) the law will come down on you hard and you will face fines and prison time. Then another couple will be occupying your home as the 'property managers' while also looking after the extra kids that have been planted on your doorstep.

It's the start of Situation X, and there has not been a massive die off.

Firstly, how have you planned for this?
Secondly, how would you react to such a thing happening?
What kinds of responses do you see available?
What plans of action could be taken?
What would you do?
