RE: I like this article
It is a good and humane decent thing for man to want to help his fellow man if he is in need. BUT

NOT when it is Compulsory or Obligatory
and
Not if it endangers your OWN family / groups survival.

I admire, respect and compliment people who wish to see part of their own money/ earning etc used to help other more needy people such beneficence is good, but no such system should by absolute and compulsory.

Many socialists say it is only FAIR that wealthier person (A) should pay more tax than poorer person (B) into a fund to pay for welfare, medical care, social care etc, I do not consider that FAIR at all.

What is FAIR is those who USE a public service the most should PAY the MOST and those who use a public service the least or not at all should pay the least or not at all.

If I went to a restaurant with a couple of friends, they had a cheese sarney and a pint of bitter apiece and I had Steak and Bolinger then surely I should pay the most, but under the socialist system of fairness the guys who had the cheese sarney should not only pay for their meal but also half of the cost of my steak!!

So think about the Mutual Support Agreements, Cooperations, Prep Groups, Prepping Coops etc that very many of use seek to be a part of, if members 1 to 15 pay in £200 a month and turn up to train every weekend, whilst members 6 to 20 only pay in £20 a month and only turn up occasionally to help, then again using the socialist doctrine when TSHTF members 16 to 20 should get exactly the same share of supplies / food/ fuel etc as those who paid the most and put in the most effort.

And that is why I can never support socialism in any form so long as its COMPULSORY as it is when its applied to government, NHS or Welfare state.

If you put in then you can take out, if you don't put in then you get nothing out, and you cannot take out more than you put in, Surely that is FAIR.
