RE: violent migrants and food shortages
Don't worry about those poor people. At the moment our government is sending warships to interdict these boats as they leave the coast. Soon we will decide that to save their lives we had better stop them spending any time in these deathtraps and will send out warships in to pick them up from land.

Useless bunch of fuckers we voted in again.

Perhaps the focus should be on the reasons these destitute folk risk everything to get here. Perhaps none of this would have happened if we the West hadn't destroyed their countries and infrastructure with unending War, death and destruction. You reap what you sow.

TH, that's a bit "shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted", its already done, its too late for recriminations, we have to put up with what is and deal with it accordingly.

I'm going to take the tribe to live in Romania with my friend Bogdan. Gotta be lots of empty houses over there now...

At least it's just Uncle Bulgarians and Romanians to deal with over there, over here we're stuck with all sorts! £8k can get you a nice bungalow. £50k can get you something decidedly more palatial.

depends on what one wants, as a prepper the land would be more important than the house.

We'd need something like this:

But you can get this for under £10k:

Gotta be some SQL dev jobs out there!

And I won't need to board a banana boat to get over there.

why would you want to move somewhere there is even more chance of being in the shit than here ? nice that it's cheap and you get plenty of land for your veggies but that's a pretty unstable part of the world now and you would be an outsider which would mark you out as the first to be taxed/bumped off.

Don't be silly! Treat the symptoms, not the cause! Didn't the modern, broken political system teach you anything? The underlying cause should be ignored or brushed under the carpet, and then ignored. It's the symptoms that need sorting, not the other way round!

Silly goose.

The crazy thing is, that's what's going on. Treat the alcoholic for their addiction. Don't bother trying to find out why they're addicted or what took them to drinking. Crazy that we all know it's going on, and yet nothing ever changes.
