I don't know about the conspiracy bit but your right about the end of civilisations, its happened before and it will again, we are not immune, in fact we have further to fall than previous civilisations, can you imagine "the masses" without their mobiles, pc's, Xboxes and facebook/twitter etc? they will be as little babies and will quickly be gone. only the prepared have even a chance of survival and even that might be down to luck or location at the time of TEOTWAWKI.

sounds a bit complacent dosent it? sounds a bit like saying "you'll have to live with the plague"!!! I mean we aren't talking the common cold here-this thing kills pretty much EVERYBODY it comes into contact with.

The "latest" on RT is that there are now 14 people quarantined in Spain, with folks starting to riot against TPTB for bringing Ebola to the Spanish mainland.
I also believe the Ebola story is being sexed up, keep them afraid and all that. We all know that fear is a constant thread in our news. To put it into context there are over 20,000 deaths a year by Snakebite around the World, and the number may be underrated and as high as 90,000, there 11,000 plus in India alone who die by envenomation. The 4000 deaths so far by Ebola are always to be regretted, but it is by no means a Pandemic in any sense of the word. Doesn't mean I'm not watching the developments though.

Snakebite is not infectious, the snakes are not invisible, and most bites do not have a 90% fatality rate.

I don't think (??) it is airborne - but who really knows....... But I do think that the virus is very resilient.
I suspect that these infections were caused carelessness and possibly inadequate PPE - hence my mini rant yesterday about that DM article ;-)
