RE: China Virus Threat 2020
One person in isolation suspected Coronavirus next village down from us 1.8 miles away .....awaiting test results , this person is ill....IF you hold your money in a bank , get it out while you can just in case , if nothing happens ...then just put it back again .....what ever ! Do not hang about.....at this rate of decline you may not get any of your funds .

RE: China Virus Threat 2020
don't worry about money, this virus is going to play havoc with the supply chain a few months down the line.
yes take some money out of the bank but don't hold onto it, spend it on stocking supplies, money will be no good when there is nothing to buy with it.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

RE: China Virus Threat 2020
I guess the biggest question is whether this is all going Tango Uniform
or whether it can be controlled. I'm not betting on it being controlled so am preparing
for lockdown for a couple of months. Im not prepared for 6 months but lets see.
Life is going to more difficult if elec and gas supplies hit
The only thing Im short of is water
need to address that tomorrow

RE: China Virus Threat 2020
thanks SS
Yeah I already got one with two filters in a few years ago. I think I paid around 65 for it then.
The question is that I have no stream or river to get water from im the first place.
Guess I am going to have to use a rain barrell from the roof
Although I may go to Lidl and get a couple hundred litres - at 17p per 2 litre bottle
its not too much

RE: China Virus Threat 2020
I think we all know now that it’s not if but when it comes.
Most of us preppers are well set up for isolation or a lockdown should it’s needed, but now the sheeple are waking up due to all the publicity on line and on television.
They are now starting to panic buy, they grab everything they can without any idea of a balanced plan. This will create shortages and make difficulties for everyone.

RE: China Virus Threat 2020
Today India has banned the export of several drugs including paracetamol, some antibiotics, antiviral drug acyclovir and some vitamins.
Our shopping habits have changed, no weekly shop, if we pass a useful shop we go in, every day, there will always be something we can top up on.
With the first case in our area we are in lockdown, and that’s it

NO it’s the manufacturer ,you will not get it anywhere ...we have tried they said , we now await a telephone call from her doctor to see what the alternative is going to be.
