RE: WEF - investing in forests program
you are referring to the monarchy when you talk about beheadings, the British monarchy now are just a figure head , the real PTB are the government-of whatever party happens to be in power at the time, they have become a London "Elite" and not really interested in what happens in the provinces, with the run down of the military and the Police already happening in SHTF they will only be able to control a small part of the South East of England and even that could be in doubt if the remaining soldiers and Police arent being paid and the majority of Govt income is taxes which wont be paid post SHTF.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

And all you got from that was beheadings and the monarchy?

You did not see the Shaman, the Druids, the Romans, the Angles Saxons and Jutes, the Normans, the Vikings, the industrialists, the British Empire, Marx, the war-time governments or the austerity governments that gave rise to your present situation?

TPTB are not eliminated, they are simply exchanged for another form.

You have ALWAYS had someone that the people referred too as TPTB. You always will. You will always be paying someone to beat up the other guy and not you. That is called taxes. There will always be someone with their hand out and an armed man behind them to have their due, whatever that "due" is; grain, chickens, pigs, oxen, sheep, wool, gold or jewels.

I do not know if the saying is common in GB, but it is over here. "The only two certainties of life are death and taxes!"

Yes I do agree MB !......it’s good to look back at the historical records , moreover too look at the two party illusion of choice and the belief you actually have a choice when in fact we do not really have any choice at all .....just a change of curtains .....is all we get .....anywhere any country .....by this we feel We have made a difference and our vote amounts to something .....only to be corrupted and manipulated by people who really run the show ......until they get beheaded .

RE: WEF - investing in forests program
Just a footnote , history is being rewritten and manipulated all the time and has been for thousands of years , authors have been putting their slant on past events and offering (their interpretations ) to suit their belief systems Only to be picked up by others as excepted fact by future generations........any challenges are met with hostility and ridicule and a robust defence of any set prevailing narrative.

The Cloward-Piven Strategy: Orchestrating A Crisis So Government Can “Solve” It | is an 8-step plan designed in 1966 by hardcore anti-American Liberal Socialists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven that called for overloading the U.S. public welfare system in order to precipitate a crisis that would lead to a replacement of the welfare system with a new national system.

This scheme got a lot of play at Columbia University in the 80's, when Barack Obama was an undergraduate there, and is the foundation for the Democratic Party's plan for the "fundamental tranformation" of America, which began to take place during Obama's two terms, and is now continuing unabated under Biden.

The “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

The Cloward-Piven Strategy to Collapse America:

1. Healthcare– Control healthcare and you control the people.

2. Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

3. Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4. Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

5. Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives. (Food, Housing, and Income)

6. Education – Take control of what people read and listen to take control of what children learn in school.

7. Religion – Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.

8. Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier take (Tax) from the wealthy with the support of the poor.

The recent addition of "Critical Race Theory" to the mix is the catalyst which will hasten the reaction.

This plan has now metastasized in American society and the prognosis is not good.

Yes I agree Charles ......it’s implemented pretty much everywhere , what bugs me most is people’s ability not to SEE what’s going on ......in plain sight ! And even when the penny drops they do nothing and just except it .

RE: WEF - investing in forests program
I doubt very much if its only happening in the US, Blair was very similar to Obama and Biden in his actions, hence the increase in immigrants here, and it has probably been happening since, the Civil Service are all lefties and marxists and arent to be trusted.

I don't know what I was expecting? I taught history for 35 years at every level and I should know better.

Paul you look back to a dream world that never existed! Man in his natural state, the noble savage living off the land. That is a dream from the pen of Sir Walter Scott or James Fenimore Cooper and the Romantic Era of literature.

Yes Paul, people most certainly were paying taxes during the Dark Ages, even earlier. Stone Hinge was probably fashioned by people paying tribute to their religious leaders! Offa's wall did not spring up magically from the soil, and the treasures at Sutton Ho and the Anglo Saxon Hoard were not mined and crafted by the hands of the warriors that they were buried with. The castles that dot your land were first constructed by conscript labor by the Norman war lords. They were accumulated as plunder or tribute.

There were only three classes; those who prayed, those who fought, and those who worked to support the other two classes. That was the system for 1000 years (500-1500). It had been the system for the previous 4000.

The entire system of rents and tenancy of the Dark and Middle ages was one of trading labor/taxes for protection. You worked on your own land three days a week and on the war-lords' land three days a week. It was the continuation of the system that had existed from the dawn of time.

Right up into the 20th Century much of the agriculture based economy was done on a crop share model, with the rent/tax due when the crop was harvested and the land lord having his customary amount even if there was none left for the tenant farmer.

As for the Black Death, well that was a radical incident but it was temporary and relatively short. The reduction in population changed the relationship between land lord and tenant and speeded the end of serfdom. It only lasted another 150 years in GB. Then, rather than "rents" to pay there were individual fees and taxes collected directly.

No, the system did not "collapse". It was disrupted, just like our own "pandemic" has done, then it picked up where it left off and sailed along for 150 years. Everyone was not instantly a "free man" able to move about and make his/her own decisions, live where they wanted and raise whatever crop they chose.

Outside the urban centers the labor based tax/rent system still exists on a widespread basis all over the world. Even well off farmers often trade labor for land use. The 100 acre field across the lane from me is cut and baled for hay by a farmer that pays half the hay to the landlord as tribute.

If you look to the chaos of any area in the midst of civil war you will find that one of the most serious problems is that each "side" or faction is collecting taxes, stripping the people of their subsistence, usually produce or possessions.

So, as things fall apart around you, expect to see multiple parties at your door claiming to be the new PTB, and wanting their taxes or they will burn you out.
