Not quite the same but iv almost given up answering my phone most calls now are people trying it on one way or another.
As we head towards 5g and ai we need to know who is real or a scam or nobody will be safe.
The cyber attacks are just the cost of our government's support for ukraine, wonder what we
do back to those countries who we font have good relationships with.

I only use my mobile for emergencies/vehicle breakdowns..not many of those these days with a reliable vehicle, and the landline is for the wife's research ( I dont make phone calls). we get a lot of scam calls on the landline mostly from Indian call centres which get the phone put down on them.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

Any unusual or suspicious calls we check up on “who called me”, if call is important they will leave a message
or call back, if not tough. Never missed anything important yet.

if its important they will ring back, I'm not breaking my neck to catch a phone call.
most suspicious calls are "number with held" which is suspicious in itself.

Well, I can't find anywhere that controls the format of the output on this page. Must be something corrupt in the templates. I'm going to try resetting them and seeing how it goes.

Now is the time to plan for power outages....no electricity or gas, no water supply, no sewage pumped away, no cash machines, supermarkets not restocked.

If they can cut off power to Spain Portugal and france then this must be taken seriously , all nato members with access to latest intelligence info .
Apart from under sea pipes and cables that can't be replaced easily the rest will be temporary inconvenience.

If the power network is shut down completely through any cause, national grid would need to do a “black start” and as they’ve never done it from scratch before it could take weeks.
Every power station would have to be started individually to avoid overwhelming the system further damaging equipment.
