Tyre Iron Not for changing the wheels of course.. lol

A trick taught to me many years ago was to stand on the handle of a wheel brace or to stamp down on it. Always works for me and is far easier than using ones arms to apply pressure.


Just got to apply the force evenly or steadily, rather than quick & injuring oneself.

Yep, as TL says, a cross wheel brace and decent boots will undue the most corroded of wheel nuts. I always have one in the back... next to the general tool kit, and bottles of water, fruit and nut mix, wind-up torch, blankets, lighters... and so on and so on.
