I have now re bagged my potato flakes into mylar bags with OA's inside, only thing is the bags did not completely shrink around the flakes, I used 10" x 16" bags and One 100cc OA's, I have read elsewhere that this is okay, anybody else had the same problem? should I rebag with 300cc OA's, cheers Jan

Love potato flakes.
You can do so much with them, easy to store, and no waste.
We are buying packets of flakes from Asda @20p a pop.

Can anyone get cheap mylar bags? Never used them but the way things are going everyone is going to have to stock up on food.

In a word No, bought mine in off ebay in july:
10 x 16 MYLAR BAGS + OXYGEN ABSORBERS 28.50 Inc P & P
20 x 30 MYLAR BAGS + OXYGEN ABSORBERS £23 Inc P & P
This qty doesn't do much either,
seen cheapish on ebay but might have to double up on the bags for thickness.
30 Mylar 1 Gallon FOIL Food Storage Bags 26x40cm + 30 300cc O2 Oxygen Absorbers £15.70 delivered from Hong Kong
