Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

RE: uses for a dead chest freezer
You can convert a broken chest freezer into a highly efficient fridge
If you can't strip it down and re build it, you don't own it

Fill it with supplies, them paint it a drab colour and cover it with firewood or old bricks

Due to the insulation, it shouldn't be too much trouble to make one into a faraday cage.

Yup there used to be a chap on Teessside who bred Tilapia and other fishys in nowt but old chest freezers salvaged from places like Iceland.
Even UNPOWERED they are great for extending the life of foods as they maintain a constant temp that does not vary much.

RE: uses for a dead chest freezer
You guys are SUPER!!!
You just saved me from throwing away a couple of hundred pounds in buying shlving that I really did not want to get due to it arousing suspicion from neighbours who would see me bringing it in, not to mention the noise in installing them.
I can fit 2 chest or 3 standing freezers in the space I want to use and that will make things less obvious.
Thank you So MUCh for posting on this!!!
