I dont know if a big event will happen at all,..I have no idea, I suspect it will sooner than later, but I am not just prepping for a large scale event,..I am a prepper who prepares for what ever comes along, be it a terrorist attack, social breakdown, or simply old age.

I have said it before, but its reverent to say it again,.. I hate the phase `Doomsday Prepper`, I am not one of those,..I am an `Emergency Prepper`,..and I hope I will be ready for whatever comes along,... Bracken and I have NBC suits and gas masks,... we have lots and lots of food,... I think we have security sorted, we have communications, we have heat and power sorted, we have stuff in Faraday cages, and lots of things in between,... this is what a prepper if an emergency comes along or not.

lawless and desperation has been here as long as the behind door corruption, it all grows. weather in my life time or not, the life i and my children lead not only makes us more than the norm conflict or not. it also is the only prep (other than leaving into another pan) we can make for this and any major eventuality. i treat my survival knife like the samurai treated there swards, with love and honour. its a way of life for me.

What exactly is a Faraday cage?

A Faraday cage is a metal container, that will protect your electrical items in the case of an EMP from either a solar flare or an EMP bomb

They can be of many different designs,... but one of the best and most simple design is an all metal dust bin,... line it with cardboard,.. then have each of your items,.. [ say a CB radio ] packed in cardboad, and wrapped in tin foil and place in the dustbin,.. wrap each item the same way,.. the idea is to have as many layers for each item, but none touching metal,... so that the electric current from the Electromagnetic pulse cant get to the circuit of your radio

Remember that you will need to make sure the lid of the bin is very tight, it cant be allowed to have any slight gaps, or become loose,... personally I tape the lid on tight using aluminum tape

We don't have capitalism here. It is a false construct put out by the politicians.

Capitalism made us great. It wasn't perfect. Nothing is but our method has been corrupted by Socialism over 60 years.

If capitalism was here you could buy what you wanted. You can't. You could open a bank account without having ID, you can't. You could transfer your money to anyone you wanted without some thieving scum taking a chunk of it, you can't. We wouldn't have power shortages looming because they would supply as much power as you want. They can't because they are not allowed too. Capitalism means small government we haven't had that for decades.

They call it Capitalism so everyone has something to blame that isn't them.
