Any more news on this? Appears to have disappeared from the radar. Definitely something fishy about it - who leaves this kind of stuff in the back of a van? And if you did break into the van, looking for tools normally, you certainly wouldn't pick up a box with the radioactive trefoil on it and take it home!

Appears to me as if it's been stolen to order, procured by the driver. If there really was one?

From what I've heard from ex-colleagues, Lancs police have no idea who's grabbed it, and their SOCO can't find any useful bits (seems like a pro job).

Hopefully it will be found but if not, it could have been nicked for a dirty bomb.I watched a film few year back where the scenario is a dirty bomb attack on the city of london
