Gathering Intel on growing threats

I dont and I dont think SD does because as everyone saw recently on another UK forum it can go seriously tits up and do immense amount of damage to the cohesion of the forum, and with SUK being the only decent and balanced UK forum I would not want to se it changed to much. Besides I know many of the characters on this forum quite well and I would not trust them to be impartial, and that includes me.

A good forum should be self moderating , if we think about what we write about before we post it, and show respect to other people and their views, then we dont need moderators

I think we need to remember that this is a prepping forum not a political one.

Regardless of our political opinion we are all aiming for the same goal, our own survival when the ????? happens. I personally think we should leave politics at the door and aid each other in our fight.

But we cannot ignore how both Politics and Race and Religion can be clear threats to our survival ( London today, Paris this evening, Sweden last night, Madrid last saturday), It may be politically correct to be tolerant and inclusive but that does not detract from the threat from Islam, Mass immigration, terrorism, the EU, economic collapse, mass unemployment, religous violence, power shortages caused by bad planning etc.

Only the very naeive and foolish think we can simply set aside the multiple threats domestic and foreign from multiple sources.

I understand what your saying NR but is this a forum regarding how to prepare ourselves for when it happens or is it about what can happen?

The bottom line is we will prepare the same way regardless of the situation (in most cases). The types of threat are endless.

But there is a difference between talking about the politics of certain things or people, and talking about how we prep for the resulting problems they create

The immigration threads a few weeks back were an example many of us talked about the kind of people who would be coming over here, about how the government was silly to allow it etc,... none of those post were prepper related

instead those threads should have been about how we should prepare ourselves against problems caused by the influx of so many people

How can one prepare oneself if one cannot discuss or debate the source or reasoning behind the threat?, Politics, religion, race etc all are unfortunately pat of the threat assessment. And the risk assessment must also include INTERNAL threats, EG identifying other people who are hostile to your race, religion, culture or politics.

Eg I would never willingly risk my family by entering into cooperation with anyone of strong religous persuasion or strong socialist tendancies, and I'm equally sure those folks would not want to share a retreat with me.

But what if that large influx was of people of a similar culture, religion and viewpoint as yourself and moving to an area of low population density and who integrate into the community ( EG as so many Poles and Latvians have done up here). In comparison with waves of people of a faith and culture hostile to your own and moving into areas of high unemployments and not integrating at all, who follow up with demands for special considerations and who erode rights and liberties long fought for and won by your people over many years.

One has to identify threats and assets equally to make sure your preps are thorough and complete.
