RE: Riot season
Actually chaps kost of the riots I have seen have involved anti Fascists, Student Union types, Socialist worker party types, TUC members etc and the ethnic rioters only on 3 occasions of note two in Broadwater farm / Tottenham fifteen years apart and the West Yorks riots of 2000. Most mob violence I see usually has some sort of trade union or students union motivation.
Note the last Student fees protect marches the organisers gave guarenteed promises the protestors would stick to the agreed route. an hour later those same trade unions and students were trying to burn down tory central and dropping fire extinguishers onto cops heads.
The ethnic and far right are usually the last to kick off, usually after a cop has shot one of them, but the lefties will riot any time and place and dont care who gets hurt.

Naaa mate its just when ever there are organised protest marches usually under the UNISON, TUC Students Union or SWP banner there appears to be violence and thuggery , actually I must admit that all to often right wingers are inevitably mixed up in it as well.
Look at the EDL silent march the daft lumps had the other day, wrong as it was for the right to poliicise this tragedy they did want to march in peace and quiet, but the UAF/SWP attacked them and the cops and 54 lefties got arrested for thuggery, its just the way it is at the mo Barney. Back in the 70s it was C18 and the NF doing the thuggery, what goes around comes around.

RE: Riot season
The "far right"TM cant "fight" back the same ways. To do so would prove the left right "see see, I told you they were all evil". They are held to different standards (much like muslims and gypsies).
People would be far less angry about all manner of things if everyone was treated the same. Be it retrograde planning permission, inciting racial hatred, pedophilia (or "grooming" when it is "asians" (those pesky Chinese!). One set of rules for everyone. I think it was in one of those panorama or dispatches shows about Breivic in that he attempted to get his message across via all the normal perceived means. No one listened, he was ignored, politically and all that and in the end he determined the only way he could get people to listen was to act. Which we all know what that resulted in. In silencing legitimate concerns the "left" as it were has only made the "right" worse and feel more marginalized. In much the same way that all the nonsense we end up reading about the EU, bailouts, human rights laws, meddling has just made Europe more nationalistic. Its not manifested fully yet but we are seeing things like Golden dawn, Jobbick, anti islamic parties, the national front, Ukip etc springing up or becoming suddenly "normal" or parties that lots of people now support. (but they may never actually admit). So the powers that be try and silence all this (see the leader of the French national front losing diplomatic immunity so she could be charged over inciting racial hatred in 2010). The Germans trying to ban the NDP or whatever it is called, all it does is make people sit up and wonder why. What are they afraid of? Obviously that has an obvious answer, but we (and by that I mean the whole EU as well as the UK) seem to be teetering close to a tipping point. The recent killing in London being an example.
Plus now its also getting warmer and like one of the numpty journalists investigating the reasons for the Stockholm riots the heat brings more people outside and into interactions with other people.
Hodehum.

Trickle down is working to this very day. It is a slow process. It is funny to see in some areas where it is spreading, local labour authorities have pursued development strategies to halt it by hemming in residential areas that are growing in prosperity and size with medium sized retail parks, 'conservation' areas sand by putting the brakes on traffic by instituting crazy traffic management schemes.
I know near me, the local council sold a parcel of land for 10% of what it would be worth if it had been sold for prestige / executive housing to create a number of offices and light industrial units, in a town where offices and light industrial units are being pulled down as they are empty to save landlords paying business rates on empty property.
All the while the market is interfered with, certain sections will need propped up and rules to benefit them at the detriment of competition. The fact is, we have never had real, true capitalism, but a poor facsimile of it.
