RE: Fresh bread
I love freshly made bread. It is something that my neighbours make every day and the smell is so nice.

RE: Fresh bread
My girlfriends dad make LOADS of fresh bread. It always smells amazing. Only problem is, he uses an electric bread oven thing.

RE: Fresh bread
I haven't quite mastered the art of it yet, it tastes fine but it comes out a bit flat, more like a soda bread so any tip are welcome

RE: Fresh bread
You are probably using old yeast. Yeast needs to be fresh. If you buy dried active yeast, once opened, it should be used within two months, after this it starts to give a flatter bread. To produce more action try doubling your amount of yeast. Kenneth Eames.
