Marrow rum.
Has anyone ever tried this? Im going to start making a batch today and see what its like.
To make marrow rum, you will first have to cut the top off a good sized marrow and scoop out all the seeds and pith. Then fill the cavity with dark brown sugar, packing it in and then make a small hole in the bottom of the marrow. After making the hole put the marrow in a nylon stocking and hang it and then allow the fermenting liquid to drip through into the bowl. Decant the fermented liquid into bottles and it is then ready to drink.
