Middlesbrough tonight
Bugger, Middlesbrough town centre plus bus station and 10,000 homes lost power at 5PM and now water is pouring into to the town centre, commuters are floundering about in the dark in rising flood water, even the street lights are ouut. BBC radio Tees is on backup genny.

Greetings from the East Anglian coast. We survived.

Spent Wednesday, collecting supplies from caches and stocking up home.

And whilst the pond-lfe went out to "watch the sea", OH and I spent the evening
munching Quality Street and Harveys Bristol Cream whilst very warm
and watching The Tunnel
