Easily if you hit the right spot(s) IE the head or just above the right shoulder where the heart and lungs are.

After a severe collapse no doubt the rodent population will increase, but nature abhors a vacuum and the Fox,Weasel and other natural predators will increase to take advantage of the increased food supply, plus the feral dogs and Cats will do the same until a natural balance is found.

in 65 years I have only ever seen 2 rats and both those were within the last 6 years.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

We were canoeing down on the Tees barrier last summer and went got a KFC and Burger King from the park afterwards and we parked up right near the river in the visitors car park, there were rats everywhere, dozens of them, apparently the WW rafters, canoers, sail boarders and guests like picknicks and shoppr from Teesside park like to eat fast food whilst watching the assorted water sports. Their discarded food sustains a LOT of rats and more than a few hawks and urban foxes.
