Sadly the gov can indeed foresee bombings in UK, and of course we have had many years experience of terrorist bombings from the IRA.
For the government, it is impossible to 100% mitigate such threats. For us as individuals we can do so by avoiding potential target areas.

sadly they don't seem to have learnt anything from the experience.

Exactly Mary ! so lets step back and have a look at the fear game being played out here and what more freedoms we will have to give up to TTPTB in order for them to keep US safe from from these people that drive Nissan Troopers and ware black and are now striking at the very hart of Europe where all the unelected sit and pass laws that effect the likes of us here in the UK ....stripping away our sovereign powers and rights while destabilizing another twenty odd countries all at the same time, and the best bit ....we have the referendum in two months in or out .....i mean you only need half a brain cell to know the only winners from this bloody fiasco from its conception have been the big corporations that gobble up small companies....sold to us as better and more benefits for one and
all and by the same reasoning countries within the club get swallowed up by a bunch of total idiots in Brussels , as the record clearly shows , most countries involved in the Euro want out of it....resent polls show the ordinary folk want OUT and are starting to demand a referendum like here in the UK...but there is a big resistance to allow it by their governments ....if the EU was so marvellous why ? do people want to leave it....its not bloody working plain and simple ! and just in case it fails ....TIPS has already been set up ....what is it ? ...no bugger can tell you ....its a secret...its that good, no one can talk about it.....its just a hunch but i wager it will be bad for you and i ....but great for people running the planet .
