Heavy Weight Ham Documents
This document is a very good guide but I'm thinking it is a bit heavy for most non technical people Huh

For a document aimed at non technical persons, there is a heck of a lot of "geek speak" in it. Undecided

I think people would prefer a simpler document with photographs on installing basic CB, HF, 2 meter whips for a vehicle, and simple base station aerials. Smile

Plus how to use a magmount, drill and fit a body panel mount, a boot lip, or gutter type.

Together with how to SWR ( tune in ) any of the above and how to fit a standard PL259 or BNC plug.

I think I've already explained most of those mate - in as simple a manner as I can...its on one of my posts.
Trying very hard not to be paranoid.....and it aint getting easier.

Yep, I've read them. Like I said, simple instructions are better for all.
Not everyone has a technical mind.

I'll try to find time to take some piccies as I build a simple dipole for portable use, it's not nearly as hard as it sounds.
