mines giving 22ft/lb with a t r robb tuning kit.google chambers gunsmiths as well. leave it alone while it is new and get a couple of tins of pellets through it,rws super domes seem to suit hw barrels best.

I agree that gaining the knowledge to upgrade is always handy, I'm not in a rush to do it though. Mine can take a bunny's head off and leave the ears at 20 paces so I'm happy.
I shoot 5.56mm as a sport so know the risks and want this air rifle to last as long as possible. Gotta get a gun rack for my new truck now though
